the accomodation was very comfortable and clean.
The exit light in the hallway shone too much light into the room
Modern decor and cleanliness
"Including breakfast" failed to mention that you have to make it yourself.
I liked it all except I found the lounge very uncomfortable and the bedroom only had 1 bedside tabe. Everything else was perfect thankyou very much
Convenient site, modern, clean, good value for money
Was mistakenly charged for a service I did not use. However recompense was immediate so I will not hold it against them
Something needs to be done regarding the ants in the kitchen area.
The place is very well organised - though the office is in a completely different building everything is straightforward, and if not, you can call them. There is a washing machine and dryer to use for free. Kitchen is fully equipped, including a stove and oven. The place is quiet and nice for rest, the main room has premium tv and standard channels in the room. The rooms are nice and homely.
The free breakfast is a little hit and miss since after the night we were staying there was no milk, juice or bread left. I am not sure how often the supplies are refilled.
That breakfast ws included and that you could help yourself to it whenever you liked.
I got in late after a delayed flight and was looking forwrd to a drink but got to the room and found that there was no bar fridge in the room and no tea or coffee or kettle.
The price was reasonable & the room was well appointed. Close to the cbd of Bundaberg
The tv did not work. The exit sign signed shone into my room all nightmaking the room very light.
We were glad we chose a king room for the size. Free washing machine and spin dryer in the kitchen.
Reception is located in another hotel a car journey way from Alexandra Lodge and there are NO staff on site at any time. They send you a text with a security code so that you can get into the building and your key is in your unlocked room on arrival. This is a boutique hotel of 4 small rooms and two king rooms with NO wardrobes or drawers to put your clothes so you never unpack. The rooms are only serviced after 4 or 7 night stays, otherwise you make your own bed and use the same linen throughout your stay (we were there for 3 nights only). The kitchen is communal - all guests use the equipment, cooker and fridge and are supposed to clear up after them (which they didn't of course). We chose this hotel as it provided breakfast but did not know that supplies are left in the communal kitchen for everyone to use. Housekeeping come in each morning.to top them up but they don't empty the waste bin or clean the kitchen if dishes are left in the sink - the guests are expected to do this, even if they are not your dishes. Not really a holiday hotel, and very disappointing. Surprised that Booked.net did not know all this and recommend this hotel.
the price and location were great easy to get to,
the wifi didn't work and my bed was squeaking through out the night
Big communal kitchen and breakfast food already in the fridge.
Reception is at elsewhere.
The reception on the TV in room 3 was not good and needs to be improved.
The layout was fantastic, and it catered for all our needs.
Maybe the instructions for the entry, a bit confusing for the first time
I liked the styling of the lodge it was comfy and relaxed
There was a pane of frosted glass which meant light from hallway exit sign came into the room at night and this was not conducive to a good nihts sleep. There were also no evacuation plan displayed in any of the rooms
Internet didn't work and had to be reset Whicker couch & chair weren't that comfortable tv wasn't that audible - something wrong with the sound? It promised a tv in the room on the internt and on the information in the accomodation - they wasn't
